It took two and a half hours...
but Mr. Blog and I participated in the great democratic process we call voting. 
I celebrated with these adorable cupcakes at work.

Yay, you! We voted two weeks ago, which I was a little hesitant to do...I wanted to be in on the "action" of Election Day. However, we had a death in Sweet P's family recently and we'll be out of pocket for most of the day today, so I'm glad that we had the option to vote early.

When we vote here in Canada, there never seems to be a lineup but for some reason we get about 80% turnout... I guess it's the difference in population! We zipped in and OUT!
